Tom, a representative of the Woodside Arts & Culture Committee, presented the committee’s 2024 annual report during the Feb. 11 public-comment period. The committee reported 1,173 volunteer hours in 2024 (about 98 hours per month) and $6,569 in out-of-pocket spending (about $547 per month) to support events such as First Friday and other town activities.
Tom thanked town staff for assistance with events. Council member Wall and other council members thanked the committee for the time and money volunteers contributed. Council member Wall asked the committee to provide additional administrative information to the appointments subcommittee — specifically attendance records and a succession plan for the committee chair — by email so the subcommittee could review governance and continuity questions outside the meeting.
Tom agreed to provide that follow-up information.
