Youth group urges Shelton to use comp-plan update to address housing affordability, racial disparities and projected needs

Julianne Gale of Mason County Climate Justice said the group received a Department of Commerce grant to improve public participation in the comprehensive-plan update and to ensure vulnerable populations are heard. “We got a grant from the Department of Commerce to make sure that there is public participation in the comprehensive plan update, especially from vulnerable populations,” Gale said.
