Charles River Public Health District members express broad agreement on draft mission, vision and guiding principles; staff to circulate final survey and begin

Representatives of the Charles River Public Health District — officials from Dover, Medfield, Needham and Sherborne — met in a virtual strategic-planning session to refine draft mission, vision and guiding principles, review a municipal data crosswalk and conduct a strengths-weaknesses-opportunities-threats analysis; participants expressed broad agreement on draft language and staff said they will circulate a final approval survey, draft goals and schedule stakeholder interviews ahead of the next meeting.

The meeting’s facilitators, identified in the session as staff members Megan and Arissa, opened by reminding the group that the agenda was “solely focused on session 2 for a strategic planning.” The facilitators reviewed objectives for the session: finalize mission, vision and guiding principles; review a crosswalk of municipal plans and public data sources; conduct a SWOT exercise; and define next steps for drafting goals and interviewing stakeholders.
