Policy committee members noted a remaining question about whether references to "early childhood" or "kindergarten" in two related policies (06:30 and 06:50/07:50) should remain consistent; attorneys advised leaving some language unchanged and staff will confirm wording before second reading in March. The board also discussed making consent‑agenda materials publicly visible; staff clarified that consent‑agenda documents currently are posted after board approval and that personnel items remain confidential until approved.
