RSU 10 board approves leave and hire, amends minutes; executive-session motion scheduled

During the personnel and human-resources section, the superintendent reported acceptance of two staffing changes: the resignation of Heidi Steele, physical education teacher at MES, effective at the end of the school year, and the retirement letter of Dinah Guilford, a special-education technician with 26 years of service, also effective at the end of the school year. A transfer of a special-education technician from Murobi to RES was also reported.
Near the meeting's end, the board considered a motion "to review the superintendent evaluation goals pursuant to MRS 4056a in executive session." Bonnie moved and Dan seconded. The chair called for a vote and directed the group to move to an adjacent room for privacy. The transcript records some members saying "no" during the roll call, and the board then left the public room; the meeting record does not include a full roll-call vote tally in the public portion.
No other formal votes on ordinances or budget articles were taken during the public portion of this meeting.
