Board approves several CUPs, adopts adult-business rules, backs two broadband support letters; multiple permits denied

Warren County Board of Supervisors members voted on a series of land-use permits, ordinance changes, appointments and administrative items at their Feb. meeting, approving several conditional use permits and an adult-business ordinance, authorizing county staff to finalize a landlord release tied to a loan for the Warren Coalition and backing two broadband applicants’ letters of support. Two short-term rental conditional use permit requests were denied and a zoning text amendment about conditional-use expirations was tabled for revision.

The actions package covered a mix of planning decisions and administrative approvals. Among the approved items were conditional use permits for short-term tourist rentals and a church expansion; two short-term rental CUPs were denied after neighbors objected.
