JERSEY CITY — The Division of Affordable Housing presented a resolution to renew a contract with Intellectx, Inc., the vendor operating Jersey City’s consolidated affordable housing portal, for one year at a total cost of $318,000.
Gigi Gasson, representing the Division of Affordable Housing, said the renewal covers software and hardware support, routine security audits and server monitoring ($2,800 per month), engineering and development work ($21,200 per month) to respond to user feedback and ongoing enhancements, and $2,500 per month for hosting and server space. Gasson described the portal as a central point for constituents to access affordable housing services and said the vendor’s work will focus on improvements driven by user needs.
Why it matters: The portal is the city’s primary online access point for affordable housing applications and information; continued vendor support aims to keep the system secure and responsive to constituent needs.
Next steps: Staff presented the renewal for placement on the council agenda; no vote was recorded during the caucus.
