Lansing — The Michigan House on Tuesday approved several largely ceremonial resolutions and advanced a joint resolution and new bills for committee consideration.
The chamber unanimously adopted House Resolution 20, introduced by Representative Martin, designating February 2025 as Career and Technical Education Month in Michigan. “Over 12,000 Michigan high school students were enrolled in CTE during the 2023–24 school year,” Martin said on the floor, adding that more than 95% of participating students go on to postsecondary training or employment within about a year of graduation.
