Board adds Black History Month resolution to agenda after unanimous roll call

Ms. Tiffany Tilley moved to add the resolution; Dr. Judith Pritchett seconded. Tilley read the resolution into the record, which cited the history of Black History Month and urged that the contributions of Black citizens be reflected in core curriculum throughout the year. The board approved placing the resolution on the agenda by roll-call vote (all voting members present answered “yes”).
After the vote the chair called for approval of the full agenda as amended; that motion passed, and the board proceeded with scheduled presentations.
