Cellists Sadie Enger and Ellery Fox performed a Vivaldi cello concerto; percussion student Mr. Andrews (listed as the percussion president) played a triangle concerto; Alec Hampton performed Mozart’s concerto for bassoon; Sophie Garrett played Saint‑Saëns’ Introduction and Rondo; Jack Jensen performed Cimarron’s Concerto for Oboe in all four movements; and one of the concertmasters, Miss Cambry Barry, performed the Samuel Barber violin concerto.
During the program, a staff member noted the students rehearse extensively: “this group here had about 7 after school rehearsals, we’re here for 3 hours yesterday,” and asked the audience to recognize the students’ time commitments. Before her performance, Cambry Barry dedicated her piece: “Before I start, I would like to dedicate my performance to my great uncle Larry, who passed away on Monday.”
The concert paused for a brief 10‑minute intermission and concluded with concertmaster Kaye Spolett performing the third‑movement finale of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D major. Organizers closed the evening with thanks to families and a note to “drive safely” and “see you next year.”
