The San Diego County Board of Supervisors approved the consent calendar Feb. 26, adopting routine items including the county’s annual road resurfacing list.
Supervisor Desmond thanked the Department of Public Works for the list’s preparation and noted it balances community input with pavement conditions; she specifically said she was glad that “Lake Wolford Road made the list.” Supervisor Montgomery Stepp seconded the motion. The board took public comment on the consent items before voting.
Ryan, the board clerk, reported six public requests to speak on the consent agenda (one in person and five by phone). Public comments included concerns about project transparency and allegations raised by a speaker who identified herself as Andrea Ebbing; she addressed county transparency and said an FPPC complaint had been filed naming several local officials (these claims were presented as public comment and were not acted on by the board during the consent vote).
The board conducted a voice/roll‑call vote to accommodate a supervisor participating remotely. Supervisors Anderson, Montgomery Stepp, Desmond and Vice Chair Lawson Reimer voted yes and the motion passed unanimously.
