Twinsburg council adopts emergency measures for communications, road striping and IT purchases; recreational marijuana code introduced

Twinsburg City Council on Feb. 25 suspended normal reading rules and adopted three emergency measures intended to prevent service disruptions, secure contractor schedules and update city technology.
Council voted unanimously, 7-0, to adopt Resolution 21 20 25 authorizing the city to enter an agreement with BNC Communications for microwave links and declaring the purchase an emergency. Council said the suspension and emergency declaration were intended to implement the new links quickly to avoid service disruption.
