Under the proposal staff presented, the district would move a furlough day scheduled for June 13 to Feb. 14 (one of the snow days) so that students would regain one lost contact day. The proposal would also alter the final week of the school year so June 11 becomes a full day of school, June 12 a half day, and June 13 the last staff day, producing an additional student contact day.
