The Hawaiian Gardens City Council voted unanimously to approve its meeting agenda and to adopt the consent calendar during the Feb. 26, 2025 meeting.
A council member made a motion to approve the agenda “as presented,” which was seconded; a roll call recorded affirmative votes from Council Member Farfan, Council Member Roa, Council Member Vargas and Mayor De Pala. The council then took a motion to approve the consent calendar; the same roll call recorded the same four affirmative votes and the clerk declared the motion carried.
No agenda items were pulled for separate discussion, there were no public hearings that night and the council noted there were no discussion items or new business. The meeting recessed for a short break and later reconvened; the council adjourned at 6:40 p.m. and set its next regular meeting for Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 6 p.m.
