Council sets March 25 public hearing, April 29 second reading for Freiberg latecomer sewer agreement

The City Council on Feb. 25 approved a resolution to set a public hearing on March 25 and a second-reading date on April 29 to consider a latecomer agreement with Russell and Lori Freiberg.
Ken Cook, Development Engineering Manager, told the council the Freibergs extended sewer about 360 feet to serve their new single-family home and that the proposed latecomer agreement would include six additional lots plus the Freibergs’ lot (seven lots total). Council members noted that the resolution on Feb. 25 only establishes hearing dates and does not adjudicate the latecomer agreement itself.
Council moved, seconded and voted to set the two dates. No additional action on the agreement was taken; staff will present details and the latecomer agreement terms at the March 25 public hearing.
