The Twin Cities Planning Commission unanimously approved a conditional use permit Wednesday allowing an accessory drive-through facility for a bank at 2425 North Main Street.
The motion to approve, made by Commissioner Proctor and seconded by Commissioner Hammer, cited the findings and conditions in the staff report dated Feb. 19, 2025 (application number 2025020). Commissioners voted aye in a roll call and the permit was recorded as approved 7-0.
Planning staff displayed the site plan showing the proposed drive-through lane and access from 2400 North. Ken Page described the site as currently zoned general commercial and said the commission was considering only the drive-through accessory use for the identified pad (Pad F).
There was no public comment. The commission opened and then closed the required public hearing before taking action.
The approved permit authorizes the accessory drive-through as described in the applicant’s submittal; the staff report contains the specific conditions the commission adopted.
