City of Doral showcases vendor and business fair to connect local entrepreneurs with city resources

The City of Doral hosted a vendor and business fair at the Doral Cultural Arts Center to connect local businesses with city departments and resources, a City of Doral spokesperson said.

City staff and attendees described the event as an opportunity for networking, education and business growth. "The city of Doral hosted another successful vendor and business fair at the Doral Cultural Arts Center, bringing together local businesses and city departments for a day of networking, education, and growth," the City of Doral spokesperson said.

A local business owner attending the fair said it offered practical information about working with the city and building partnerships. "I think a vendor fair and business expo like this is a great opportunity for our local businesses to come out and learn more about how they can create alliances with the city of Doral, provide their services to business, and even grow within their industries with other business owners in our city," the local business owner said.

Participants heard presentations from city staff on grant opportunities, sponsorships and vendor registration. "Participants attended informative presentations from the city staff covering grant opportunities, sponsorships, vendor registration, and essential tools available to help businesses thrive," the City of Doral spokesperson said. City materials and staff offered guidance on accessing those resources and on connecting directly with city departments.

An entrepreneur at the event described the fair as a chance to introduce businesses to the community and to city procurement opportunities. "What vendor fairs to me means an opportunity of growth, an opportunity to network and meet the community, and be able to introduce myself, my company, and offer my services to the city of Doral," the entrepreneur said.

Organizers thanked event sponsors and encouraged businesses to follow the city’s social channels for future events.
