Vero Beach committee backs submariners and Navy SEALs monuments, agrees to sign updates and site work

At a meeting of the Veterans Memorial Island Committee in Vero Beach, members voted to recommend two new monuments — one honoring submariners and one honoring Navy SEALs/frogmen — to the City Council and agreed to work with public works and veterans groups on locations, bases and installation details.
