Parks advisory board approves agenda and previous meeting minutes

At its Feb. 25 meeting, the Lake Forest Park Parks and Recreation Advisory Board voted to approve the meeting agenda/credit reports and to adopt the minutes from the previous meeting. Both routine motions passed unanimously by the members present.
The Lake Forest Park Parks and Recreation Advisory Board unanimously approved the meeting agenda/credit reports and adopted the minutes from the prior meeting during its Feb. 25 session.
Board members opened the meeting with routine procedural business. A motion to approve the credit reports and agenda was made and seconded; the board chair called for a vote and recorded the motion as approved. A subsequent motion to adopt last month’s minutes was made, seconded and approved by the three members present.
These votes were procedural and did not change policy or commit additional funds. No member recorded a nay vote, abstention or recusal during the recorded motions.
The board then moved on to scheduled presentations, including an overview of the Hang Time after-school program and a report from the executive director of Third Place Commons.
