During the vote, the clerk called roll: Melissa Mason, Josie Barnhart and Pat Bradford voted no; Judy Justice and Dr. Tim Merrick voted yes; David Perry and an identified “Mister Littlemore” voted no. A board member raised a point of order arguing that the board could not vote to circumvent existing policy unless it first invoked policy 2450 to ignore standard procedure. The chair ruled the motion not well taken and the motion failed.
