Library Director Janet Stone used the board’s Feb. 18 meeting to summarize the library’s strategic framework, program results and several operational initiatives aimed at improving public access and consistency in reporting.
Stone said staff are separating different kinds of statistics to avoid comparing “apples and oranges” and are correcting earlier reporting artifacts; she told trustees the Volunteer Match project has increased opportunity views after staff outreach. “Each staff member has been assigned to be a concierge to different agencies in town to get their, opportunities online,” Stone said.
