The Palmdale City Council approved a slate of committee and agency delegations that make the mayor the city—s delegate on several oversight bodies and confirm a set of alternates.
The mayor recommended that the city—s Investment Oversight Committee include the mayor as a member, per the city investment policy; council approved the mayor and Councilmember Olsen to serve on that committee. The council also confirmed that the mayor would serve as the delegate to Los Angeles County Sanitation District No. 14 and District 20, with Councilmember Bishop named as an alternate delegate to the sanitation district and Mayor Pro Tem Bettencourt named as alternate director for District 20. The council recommended Councilmember Bishop continue as the delegate to the Palmdale Tourism Improvement District, a seat that had expired in October 2024.
A councilmember moved the appointments as presented and the full council approved the motion by unanimous vote.
Ending: The council did not change any other committee seats at this time; the appointments were approved as presented and directed staff to update roster records.
