Board approves consent agenda, personnel actions and election order; votes recorded 7-0

The consent agenda as presented included: minutes of the Nov. 18, 2024 regular meeting; the tax report; the monthly financial report; the quarterly investment report; purchasing approvals; and an order of election for 2025 board trustee places 3, 4 and 5 to be held May 3, 2025. The consent agenda also included a post-legislative nonbusiness day resolution for calendar year 2025.
A motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Trustee Cheryl Carter and seconded by Trustee Joe Miller; the chair called the question and announced "Motion carried. 7 0." The meeting record shows the vote tally as 7 in favor, 0 opposed.
The board then considered personnel items. Trustees voted to accept the resignation of personnel (information presented to the board) on a motion by Trustee Miller with a second by Trustee Luzon; the chair announced the motion carried, 7-0.
