The Oshkosh Common Council discussed the city’s overnight on-street parking policy on Feb. 25 and, after committee and staff presentations and public comment, left the current rules in place while planning operational changes.
Transportation staff and the committee recommended keeping the existing alternate-side/overnight parking restriction in place, citing ease of understanding, consistent enforcement and the need to protect city operations such as street sweeping, snow removal and stormwater-management requirements.
