Commissioners received a status update on courthouse renovations and annex work during the Feb. 25 meeting. Commissioner Regent told the court that most items remain on the contractor punch list and that crews began driveway and concrete repairs near the courthouse. "About the only thing that's changed since Friday is they've cut down the door stops out of the doorway," Regent said, adding that work is continuing and that the county had not yet completed repairs at the park area.
No formal action was taken; commissioners closed the item after brief questions about the elevator and remaining punch-list tasks. The judge and commissioners said they would reconvene at the next scheduled meeting to receive further updates.
Ending: The commissioners plan to check progress and expect another update at the next meeting; no funding or contract changes were discussed.
