The court was told the only substantive change from the previous contract was an increase in the hourly rate for Mr. Elzey from $250 to $275 and the removal of a line item that charged for facsimiles.
County Judge (presiding) summarized the firm's role as contract and agreement drafting support used as needed; Commissioner Marty Beauchamp said the arrangement has been useful and that the county only pays for services when they are used. The court approved the authorization by a 5-0 vote.
