On Jan. 7 the King George County Board of Supervisors confirmed the slate of appointments to county and regional boards and commissions for 2025, adopting the list largely as it existed in 2024 with one personnel change.
Supervisor Stroud was nominated and approved as the board’s liaison to the county fire and rescue agencies, and the board accepted Supervisor Collins’ request to step down from the Rappahannock Regional Jail appointment; the board approved a revision to the slate and accepted Stroud’s reassignment to that role. The full slate of nominations and reappointments listed on the agenda was approved by roll call.
Board members noted that some appointees had been contacted in advance and that staff would follow up if anyone declines a reappointment. The board instructed staff to finalize membership notifications and to advertise vacancies where necessary.
