The board approved four separate motions during the meeting and recorded roll-call votes that were unanimous. The decisions formalize previously discussed plans to bring emergency facilities under county ownership, to move forward with a long-running land-division (subdivision) rewrite, to begin the legal process for changing the annual tax due date, and to replace aging collection equipment.
Deeds for three former rescue-squad buildings The board voted to accept deeds and associated agreements transferring ownership of rescue-squad buildings (including facilities described as Floyd and Check properties and a third at Indian Valley) to the county with conditions preserving public safety use and honoring the squad’s historical materials.
