Fresno County recognizes employees who gave CPR that revived a coworker

On Tuesday, Feb. 25, the Fresno County Board of Supervisors recognized David McCurry and Liz Vecchio for quickly providing CPR that revived a fellow Fresno County employee who suffered a medical emergency.
The board cited the pair’s rapid response and credited their actions with saving the employee’s life. The county said the person who received aid attended the meeting.
Along with certificates of recognition, the two employees received Fresno County medals of honor from County Administrative Officer Paul Nerland. The board did not take a formal vote on the recognition.
The recognition was presented during the board’s regular meeting; no further action was announced.
