West Palm Beach announces road and dock closures for Palm Beach International Boat Show

The city provided a schedule of closures that will affect downtown traffic in the weeks before and after the show. Marcello said northbound lanes of Flagler Drive from Lakeview to Fern will close between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Monday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 4. Beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, northbound Flagler Drive between Lakeview and Banyan will be closed and is scheduled to remain closed through 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26.
Marcello said the southbound lanes of Flagler Drive will close starting Saturday, March 15, at 3 p.m. and will remain closed through March 26. Because northbound and southbound closures overlap, drivers should expect Flagler Drive to be inaccessible between Lakeview and Banyan during the March 15–26 period cited by the city.
The podcast also said the city docks at Fern and Clematis will be closed from March 3 through March 30 “for obvious reasons,” as Marcello put it. He added that southbound lanes are scheduled to reopen March 26; northbound restrictions were described as extending further into late March for some segments.
