County staff said all reviewing agencies recommended approval with no comments and confirmed the driveway is paved. Staff told the board the approval will be conditioned on submission of a minor site plan showing adequate parking and ensuring parking does not overlie the septic drain field, compliance with health‑department directives and successful completion of a food‑safety (SafeServe) certification. Building official inspection and verification that life‑safety issues are addressed are required before issuance of a certificate of occupancy for the B&B.
The applicant, Will Smith, said he and his wife would be on-site full time and cited hospitality experience. Supervisor Ryan Patterson moved approval; the vote was recorded as aye by the supervisors present and the motion carried.
