The Wallsburg Town Council voted Sept. 5 to accept the Walsburg Town Planning Commission’s recommendations and issue building‑permit approval letters for two property owners.
Council accepted the commission’s finding that Craig Kaiser’s request for a detached garage met the requirements of the Walsburg Town Development Code and approved issuance of a building‑permit approval letter. Terry Issel moved to accept the planning commission recommendation; Mary Piscitelli seconded and the council voted unanimously in favor.
The council also approved a building‑permit approval letter for Mylett Adams to install a greenhouse near a town pasture boundary. Planning staff reviewed setbacks and determined the proposed kit structure (no permanent power or water planned) complies with the town code; Scott Larson moved to accept the recommendation, with Terry Issel seconding. The council voted unanimously to issue the letter. Adams was not present at the meeting.
Both approvals were procedural acceptance of the planning commission’s findings; council members noted the approvals allow applicants to proceed to the county building‑permit process.
