Hall County to renew annual contract with Miller EG Design for county signage; parks projects budgeted for FY26

Sarah Crow presented a recommendation to approve renewal of the annual contract for RFP 41-011 for demand services to fabricate and install Hall County signage, continuing the county's agreement with Miller EG Design, LLC of Acworth, Ga.
"This item is to approve the renewal of the annual contract for RFP 41Dash011, demand services for the fabrication and installation of Hall County signage for administration to Miller EG Design, LLC of Acworth, Georgia. The estimated annual cost is a hundred thousand," Crow said. Staff described the renewal as year five of a five-year contract.
Crow told commissioners that, under project manager Katie's leadership, Hall County has completed a county-wide rebranding and that the remaining facility signs will be installed over the next few months at compactor sites and two community centers. She said purchase orders for those installations have been issued. Crow said additional signage work for the year will be budgeted in Parks' FY26 capital projects budget and listed Sardis Creek Park, Cedar Creek Reservoir, Spout Springs Sports Complex and the bridal shelter intake center as projects intended to receive signs. A commissioner asked whether trail signage could be added for Williams Mill and Jerry's Bluff (transcript: "Jerky Bluffs"); staff said they would include trail signage in the budget presentation.
The work-session discussion did not record a separate formal vote; the renewal was placed on the consent agenda for the upcoming voting meeting.
