The Walworth County Board Executive Committee approved routine consent agenda items and several appointments during its Monday meeting.
The committee approved expense and mileage reimbursements listed in the packet: $36.98 for Rick Stacy (County Board chair), $50.00 for Alan Poliak (Wisconsin River Rail Transit Commission) and $1.38 for Richard Conkey Sr. (Wisconsin River Rail Transit Commission). The items are recorded in the committee packet on pages 62–64.
On appointments, the committee approved Stacy Shepherd to the Transportation Coordinating Committee after staff described outreach to school superintendents and Shepherd’s background in representing a portion of demand for transportation services. Vice Chair Brian Holt made the motion and a second was recorded; the committee voted aye and the appointment carried.
The committee also heard from Dean Wachterman, who was recommended for appointment to the Walworth County Metropolitan Sewerage District and described his professional experience with wastewater processes and membrane filtration upgrades. Following that interview the committee reappointed Dean Logerman to a board position; the reappointment was moved and seconded and the vote carried.
Committee minutes record that these consent and appointment items were first and seconded and that the motions carried.
