Lawrence said the county previously had an agreement for CSM review and that the proposed modification adds subdivision plats to that review.
Register of deeds Lindsay (register of deeds) joined Lawrence in recommending the update. The council took a motion to approve the memorandum and recorded the motion and a second; members then voted to carry the motion.
Next steps: council members said the memorandum will go to the General Government Committee at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow and to the committee that oversees the register of deeds before being signed and put into effect. Several council members indicated either Lawrence or Lindsay would attend those committee meetings to field questions.
