Austintown Local Schools board approves energy audit, lease, College Credit Plus MOUs and district calendar

The Austintown Local School District Board of Education approved a slate of consent items, contracts and resolutions during its meeting, including a $30,000 ASHRAE level 2 energy audit at Fitch High School, a master lease agreement for district equipment, amendments to Title I staffing contracts and College Credit Plus memoranda of understanding with Stark State College and Youngstown State University.

The board approved the recommendation to contract with Wadsworth Solutions to conduct an ASHRAE level 2 energy audit at Fitch High School for $30,000 to identify cost‑effective energy-efficiency improvements, effective January 23, 2025.
