Commissioner Brooks Matthews participated in the pledge and the meeting’s opening proceedings. Commissioners discussed the item briefly during the meeting; one commissioner commented that the change had been “a long time coming” and confirmed the property would be zoned commercial.
The board did not provide a published ordinance number or additional conditions on the rezoning during the work session. The item will appear on next week’s consent agenda for formal inclusion on the minutes and for any administrative follow-up.
