PASCO, Wash. — The Pasco City Council on Monday unanimously approved a package of actions that accepted utility work in the Broadmoor tax-increment financing area, awarded a bid for the Sandifer Parkway (Road 108) extension and ratified the purchase of a city-leased building at 321 West Lewis Street.
The votes were part of a meeting that also carried the consent agenda, which included approval of claims and three related resolutions. Council members present voted in favor of each measure.
The Broadmoor utilities item (Resolution 4564) accepted underground sewer, water and irrigation work performed by Goodman and Mannbacher Enterprises Inc. Director Sarah (presenting staff) told council the project was completed under budget; staff posted a completion cost of about $4,550,000, compared with an engineer’s estimate above $7 million. “This project was completed under budget,” Director Sarah said during the presentation.
