Heather, staff member, told the committee the recommended rollover includes $774,176 in revenues and $9,900,000 in expenditures. "This is a resolution that we bring forth on an annual basis as we are wrapping up the prior fiscal year and, assessing what, items that are not on a purchase order, because those roll separately, that we recommend to roll forward to, accommodate in the fiscal next fiscal year's budget," Heather said.
Heather said the packet includes a detailed narrative and a table that lists revenues first and then expenses by fund. She provided a breakdown: of the $774,176 in revenues, $474,000 is in the general fund; of the $9,900,000 in expenditures, $1,500,000 is in the general fund.
Phil moved the resolution; Linda seconded. The committee voted unanimously to approve the FY24 rollover and FY25 additional appropriations.
The resolution will allow the county to account for unspent consulting and other prior-year allocations identified in the packet and make those funds available for use in FY25. The packet references a table with line-item rollovers and a narrative explanation; no additional funding sources beyond those line items were specified in the meeting.
