Judge and staff said the applicant provided a detailed packet describing plans and logistics; Sheriff’s Office representatives raised no concerns when asked on the record. The applicant told the court the event typically draws large out‑of‑county attendance, and that prior years generated net proceeds used for upkeep at Fort Belknap.
The court approved the permit by voice vote; commissioners said they would coordinate parking and any public‑safety needs with the sheriff and event organizers.
