The Monroe County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to approve four annual service contracts with Financial Solutions Group (FSG) to prepare the county’s Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district annual reports, county staff said. The contracts cover the West Side TIF, State Road 46 Economic Development Corridor TIF, Curry Pike/Curry Profile TIF and Fullerton Pike TIF; commissioners approved the motion 3–0 on a roll call of Commissioner Martin, Commissioner Cassidy and Commissioner Kiesling.
County staff said the FSG reports are required for submission to the county council and then to the state in April; Financial Solutions Group is scheduled to present the reports to the commissioners on March 26. Jeff Cockrell, the county staff member who presented the items, said the contracts largely remained at historical prices though he noted small increases for some districts.
