Votes at a glance: Hamilton County commissioners approve variances, bids, proclamations and appointments

The Hamilton County Board of Commissioners on Monday approved a series of routine and project-specific motions ranging from a land-use variance for a fueling station to procurement awards, proclamations and appointments.

Highway procurement and federal-aid job final inspections: The board accepted quotes and awarded multiple highway contracts, including awarding a runway-clearing/roadwork quote to Monroe LLC as the low bidder and approving final-inspection recommendations for two federal-aid paving projects (Oriel Road and an 140th Street project phase).
