"Instead of going through a policy, we could instruct the superintendent to create an administrative regulation and they can just put it in there," a board member suggested; administration said it will prepare language and include board members in subsequent working sessions. Staff said they hope to have the regulation or formal practice in place by July so it is effective before the spring season.
