HCOG approves consent calendar, forwards draft FY25-26 OWP to Caltrans and adopts PAC recommendations

The Humboldt County Association of Governments board on Feb. 20 approved its consent calendar, voted to forward the draft fiscal year 2025–26 Overall Work Program (OWP) and budget to Caltrans for review and comment, and accepted recommendations from the Policy Advisory Committee (PAC).

The board approved the consent calendar — which included the Jan. 16 meeting record, the FY25–26 Transportation Development Act Local Transportation Fund (TDA LTF) apportionments and related LTF claims, and a City of Riedell local match fund request — after a motion and second and an aye vote with no opposition.

Interim Executive Director Debbie (name provided in meeting) presented the draft OWP and budget and noted the document largely carries over current-year work elements. The board moved and seconded a recommendation that the HCOG executive staff submit the draft OWP to Caltrans for review and comment; the motion passed unanimously. The document is scheduled to return to the board in May for final approval following Caltrans’ feedback.

Following PAC discussion, the board reconvened as the HCOG board and voted to approve the PAC recommendations; the motion passed with all members present voting aye.
