Dylan Jacob Skinner — who had earlier entered a no-contest plea — was sentenced under the plea agreement; the court imposed four years in prison, an affirmative finding of family violence and a $1,500 fine, and ordered no contact with the victim. Dylan Skinner addressed the court and said, "I apologize for the court and my family," before the sentence was imposed.
The court granted a state motion and revoked community supervision in the case of David Jamar Jones, following pleas of true to alleged supervision violations; the judge imposed a one-year term in the state jail facility under the negotiated disposition.
In another revocation hearing, the court found Joe Angel Gutierrez in violation of his supervision and sentenced him to 10 years in prison after hearing testimony and argument from counsel.
