Senate adopts multiple bills across the calendar; roll calls and tallies recorded

The New York State Senate on Feb. 24, 2025 approved a series of bills on the printed calendar spanning public health, environmental conservation, education, insurance, tax law and other topics. Most items were restored to and passed from the noncontroversial calendar after brief floor consideration; the transcript records multiple roll-call tallies.

Votes that were procedural and recorded during the session:

- Multiple appeals to overrule the chair (to allow amendments) were recorded as receiving "Aye, 22," after which the ruling of the chair stood and the underlying bills were restored to the noncontroversial calendar.
