FDOT outlines timeline for State Road 710 widening; signal study at Allapattah to be completed by June

Florida Department of Transportation officials gave the Martin County MPO governing board a project update on plans to widen State Road 710 through Indiantown and on a county-requested study of a possible traffic signal at Southwest Allapattah Road.
FDOT said the segment under discussion would be widened from two to four lanes with a narrower 22-foot median and 10-foot shared-use paths on both sides, drainage and lighting improvements and intersection upgrades at County Road 609, Allapattah Road and Indian Wood Drive.
