Trustees authorized district participation in an interlocal agreement to pursue procurement of electricity services and delegated parameter authority to the superintendent and chief financial officer to act if market conditions are favorable. The motion, moved by Trustee Haynes and seconded by Trustee Richardson, passed 7'0'0. District staff said a prior attempt in June did not yield the desired savings and that staff would return to seek favorable windows in spring or fall if the market allowed.
