District celebrates CNA program: 16 of 16 students pass certification

At Tuesday's board meeting the district recognized students and announced that the current class of certified nursing assistant (CNA) students achieved a 100% pass rate.
"We had a successful class of CNAs this semester. We had 16 out of 16 to pass the CNA certification," Superintendent Williams said during the recognitions portion of the agenda.
The board called several student names for recognition and invited parents and staff to stand. CNA students named during the meeting included Andrea Gassett, Autumn Klinner, Madison Moon, Jay Edmondson, Patience Herndon, Samaya Franger and Taylor Lyons. District staff also recognized the CNA instructors who supported the program.

The board applauded the students and instructors; photos were taken and the district indicated it will continue to promote CTE pathways that lead to industry certifications.
