Putnam County committees approve series of infrastructure actions, transit grants and SEQR steps

Putnam County legislators on the Physical Services committee approved a package of infrastructure and transit items Tuesday, advancing environmental reviews, grant applications and funding steps for bridges, road intersections and transit services.

The package included approval of SEQR negative declarations and lead-agency designations to conclude environmental review for culvert/bridge replacements and to begin review on larger projects, authorization to apply for state and federal transportation funds, and renewal of a park-and-ride/commuter shuttle agreement to the Croton Falls train station.
